Since attending his first auction at 8 years old Neil Saffer CAI, BAS knew what he wanted to be. Neil has been a Licensed Auctioneer since 1990. During his 30 plus year career Neil has conducted over 3,500 Benefit, Charity, and Fundraising auctions all over The United States, Canada and Mexico. Neil is a graduate of the State University of NY at Albany, and a graduate of National Auction Training Center class of ’89. Neil earned the Benefit Auctioneer Specialist designation in 2009 and became a member of The Certified Auctioneers Institute in 2010. Neil has been a featured speaker on benefit and charity auctions all over the US and was instrumental in writing the Benefit Fundraising Auctioneer Specialist curriculum for The National Auctioneers Association.
Trisha Saffer is the Co-Founder of Saffer & Company Benefit Auctions and has over 30 years of experience planning, organizing and administering fundraising auctions. She has worked with Executive Directors, Development Directors, and auction committees and her auctions consistently exceed expectations and break records. She is particularly passionate about working with organizations to develop the perfect emotional appeal or “ask” and the results show at each end every event. Trisha is often seen on stage and on the auction floor with our auctioneers “working the room” and making sure that each and every bid is relayed to the auctioneer and that each and every bidder has the ultimate “auction experience.”
Lamar P. Fisher is a fourth-generation resident of Pompano Beach Florida. He holds a degree from Palm Beach State College; and is a graduate of the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), the highest designation awarded by the Auction Marketing Institute. . For over 30 years Lamar has devoted his life to all aspects of the auction industry. In addition to charity and benefit auctions Lamar is responsible for directing the daily activities of his national / international company, Fisher Auction Company. Lamar is licensed in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kentucky and Virginia. Lamar is the current County Commissioner of Broward County and has previously served as Mayor for the City of Pompano Beach; Past Distinguished Governor for the Florida District of Kiwanis International.
Saffer & Company Benefit Auction Team member Bill Riddick is expert at hosting charity and benefit auctions. Bill is keenly aware of the need to raise substantial funds and while delivering a polished, exciting, and entertaining auction experience. As an seasoned master of ceremonies, announcer and auctioneer Bill knows how to engage a crowd and share your mission and message while managing the flow of the event and raising maximum dollars. Bill has traveled extensively and delivers talents to the auction experience uniquely acquired through a lifetime of exposure to different cultures and social circles. Bill is often seen with his wife Melanie his side on stage, they have two sons Winston and Theo and live in Palm City Florida.
If you have attended Black Tie galas in South Florida, you have most likely seen and met Anna Palermo. Anna has been a member of the Saffer & Company Benefit Auction team for over a decade. She is an asset to any event she works, brings excitement to every auction floor she is on and helps add to the bidding and bottom line for every organization she works for. Anna has worked as an actress in both Toronto Canada and Los Angeles California where she worked as an actress, prior to settling in South Florida! When not working with the team on charity and benefit auctions Anna is one of the most popular personal trainers in South Florida.
Bid Assistant Shana Saffer grew up on the stage and has worked the Benefit and Charity auction scene for over 15 years. Shana is always a is a crowd favorite and is an excellent addition to any auction. Shana is one of our most versatile team members and is an experienced professional bid assistant, is great at running silent and super silent auctions and is one the best raffle ticket salesperson and jewelry models ever. Shana is a truly an invaluable asset behind the control board at hybrid and virtual events and has extensive experience in the world of “virtual “fundraising. Shana lives in DC with her husband Patrick and coordinates many of our DC, Virginia and Maryland events!
Michaella Saffer is one of the most versatile members of our team. Michaella literally grew up in the auction business working both on the auction floor and behind the scenes. Not only is Michaella one of the best bid assistants in the industry she is an expert at running super silent, silent and online auctions, Michaella can also direct virtual and hybrid fundraising events, as well as write copy and create presentations for your live event. She has wealth of knowledge and experience in mobile bidding platforms as well as an experienced professional bid assistant. She has worked the crowd at many benefit auctions and her smile and enthusiasm always add to the bottom line! Michaella lives in San Francisco and coordinates all our Northern California events.
Auctioneer Elton Baldy brings all the charisma and charm of a true southern gentleman to every auction he calls. With his bright smile and charming demeanor, he draws the audience in and captures their hearts assuring that your guests are bound to return to future benefits. Elton obtained his bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and also graduated from the Missouri School of Auctioneering. He is licensed in Georgia and Florida and is an active member in the National Auctioneers Association, the Florida Auctioneers Association, and the Georgia Auctioneers Association. These associations provide Elton with the continuing education opportunities he needs to stay at the top of the auction industry. Elton and his wife Tabathia reside in the quaint town of Saint Lucie Village, Florida, nestled along the natural Indian River Lagoon
